External Platform Click IDs
When partners drive traffic from external paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat), Everflow now captures each platform's native click ID automatically. Two new columns surface this in the Click Report:
- External Platform — shows Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, or Snap based on the URL parameters detected on the click.
- External Platform Click ID — shows the captured click identifier from that platform (e.g. the
gclidvalue for Google Ads).
Platforms are detected by URL parameter:

Best Practices
Keep track of Click errors by checking them on a regular basis. When you spot important or problematic Clicks, use flowcharts to understand exactly what happened.
Pay special attention to any proxy usage and location data, as these can help you spot potential issues before they become bigger problems.
