Configure Your Payment Settings On The Marketplace Platform

For Marketplace Administrators: A guide to becoming a Payee via Everflow Pay on the Marketplace Platform. Receive faster payments via Advertisers across the Marketplace.

Overview

The Payment Settings tab within the Marketplace Platform allows you to streamline how you get paid on the Marketplace, using Everflow Pay.

This article will cover how to setup your Payments Settings once, in order to be payable for invoices you generate from Advertisers on the Marketplace.

Payment Methods: A Primer

As a Marketplace Partner, your Advertisers (connections) can pay you via a host of methods. Ideally you're working with Advertisers on Everflow Pay, in order to get the fastest and most trustworthy payments experience.

Heads Up! The Payment Settings feature is limited to becoming payable via Everflow Pay. To receive payments via Tipalti, Veem or any of the other payment methods that the Advertiser might choose as their payment method of choice, you'll have to login to the Partner Platform associated with each Advertiser in order to configure your banking details. This is an extremely cumbersome process and for that reason we suggest asking your Advertisers to switch to Everflow Pay.

Getting Started

Note This feature is only visible to users with the Administrator role. If you need to get upgraded to an Administrator on the Marketplace, please contact your Administrator user or marketplace@everflow.io.

Navigate To Payment Settings

When you open the Payment Settings tab, you will see a prompt to set up your centralized Everflow Pay configuration.

From here, you will follow one of two paths depending on your current settings with existing Advertisers.

1 Path 1: Migrating an Existing Configuration If you have already set up Everflow Pay details with one or more advertisers on the platform, the system will find all your existing configurations. You will be asked to select one of these configurations to become your single, primary payee account for all advertisers. You will also need to associate one email address with this primary account, which will override any others.
2 Path 2: Setting Up a New Configuration If you do not have any existing Everflow Pay configurations, you will be guided through a new three-step setup process. General & Banking Information: Provide your general details and banking information. Tax Information: You will be prompted to fill out the appropriate tax form (W9 for US-based entities, W8 for non-US). Penny Test (US Domestic Payees Only):Confirm your bank account is verified and ready to receive payments. Parallel Verification Steps A key update to this process is that the Penny Test and Tax Form sections are now parallel steps. They are not linear. This means you do not need to wait for the penny test to be completed before you fill out your tax information. We highly recommend you fill out your tax forms while the penny test is in process. You will see an "Action Needed" status on both items until they are complete.

Setup Complete

Once you have completed all the required steps (including the penny test, if applicable) and your tax forms are verified, your account status will update to "Ready to receive payments."

Key Points Please keep the following key points in mind: This is for Everflow Pay Only: This centralized Payment Settings tab only controls your payee details for the Everflow Pay payment method. Other Payment Methods (Tipalti, Veem, etc.): If your advertisers pay you using other methods (such as Tipalti, Veem, PayPal, etc.), you must still configure those payment details within the Partner Platform for each advertiser that uses them. Editing Your Everflow Pay Details: Once this Marketplace setting is active, you can no longer edit your Everflow Pay banking details from within an advertiser's Partner Platform. All future updates to your Everflow Pay account must be made from this central Payment Settings tab in the Marketplace Platform.
