Partner Referrals transform your existing Affiliates into network growth champions by rewarding them for bringing in new Partners.

This creates a self-sustaining growth engine where your best performers help recruit like-minded Affiliates while earning additional revenue.

Key Terms Key terms related to the Partner referral program. ➔ Referral Link: Unique signup URL for each Partner.
➔ Referral Commission: Payment for successfully recruiting new Partners.
➔ Commission Structure: How referral payments are calculated (flat fee or percentage).
➔ Referral Status: Active/Inactive state of referral relationship.
➔ Billing/Balance: Paid vs. earned referral commissions.

Available Commission Structures

1. Flat Fee Model

  • One-time payment when referred Partner is approved

Best for: Quick incentives and predictable costs

Example: $100 per approved referral

2. Performance-Based Model

Percentage of referred Partner's earnings options:

  • % of Payout
  • % of Revenue
  • % of Profit

Best for: Aligning incentives with quality

Example: If Partner 1 refers Partner 2 and chooses 10% of Payout for one month:

When Partner 2 earns $100 payout, Partner 1 gets $10 (10% of 100).

Setting Up Your Referral Program

Configure the settings for your partner referral program.

Global Configuration

Navigate to Control Center > Partner Configurations Select Partner Referral Click Edit Enable Partner Referral Configure default settings: Commission structure (Method) Payment rates / Amount Commission Type Duration period for Percentage method (if unchecked, period is indefinite) Minimum thresholds before commission payments

Partner-Specific Settings

Go to Partners > Manage Select a Partner Find Partner Referral Setting card Customize or disable referrals for specific Partners Option to retroactively assign referral relationships

Managing Referral Links

Partners find their link in Company Settings > My Account Each link automatically tracks referrals Links remain functional even when feature is disabled
Links are hidden when the feature is turned off but still work.

Tracking Without Commission

Track referrals without paying commissions.

Disable Partner Referral feature in Control Center Use Referred By field to track relationships Can still use referral links (must temporarily enable feature to copy links) and it will automatically associate any Referred Partners with the Referring Partner using the Referred By field, which is displayed when you navigate to Partners - Manage Option to manually assign referral relationships

Tracking & Reporting

Monitor and analyze the performance of your referral program.

Navigate to Reporting > Partner Referrals to review: Billed: Commissions included in invoices Balance: Total earned in timeframe Referral Status: Active/Inactive state Inactive means referral association removed Balance not calculated for inactive status Commission Structure: Payment calculation method Referred Date: When relationship began/structure updated

Referral payments automatically added as line items View in Partners - Invoices > Invoice Details Payments process after minimum threshold is met
