A Real-Life Example

Let's say you're promoting several health supplement offers:

You notice that your "Premium Collagen" offer has multiple clicks showing "Error - Offer not targeting user country" when looking at the Click Report.

Upon investigation, you see these users are from Canada trying to purchase the US-only offer you're promoting on your blog.

Actions to take:

  • Add a geo-targeting plugin to your WordPress site to only display US offers to US visitors
  • Reach out to your Advertiser contact to see if they can make the offer available in Canada
  • Find similar collagen offers that accept Canadian traffic to promote to that audience

This shows how the Click Report helps you catch targeting mismatches and optimize your promotional strategy for better earnings.

Best Practices

Making the Click Report part of your regular workflow is essential for optimizing your promotional success. Check for click errors regularly and use the detailed information to understand user behavior patterns across your traffic sources.

Pay close attention to proxy detection and location data, as these can signal potential issues before they impact your earnings.

When you spot important or problematic clicks, investigate their full details to understand exactly what happened and make informed adjustments to your promotional strategy.
